Five people including Bloemfontein Celtic players involved in car crash

On Saturday, Bloemfontein Celtic played a match against SuperSport United and scored 1-0.

Five people, including three Bloemfontein Celtic players, have been involved in a crash in Dan Pienaar Drive, in Bloemfontein.

A woman was injured and taken to Pelonomi Hospital following the crash which happened in the early hours of Monday morning. Four other people were not injured.

“Just after midnight, we received a call. On arrival, it was one vehicle where it looks like the driver lost control and the vehicle collided with trees and hit poles on the road. One passenger survived with minor injuries and was transported to Pelonomi hospital. The other four passengers in the vehicle were observed on the scene and did not have any signs of injuries,” says Sipho Towa, Manager at Emergency Medical Services.

On Saturday, Bloemfontein Celtic played a match against SuperSport United and scored 1-0.
