Giovanni Solinas will be in South Africa for Kaizer Chiefs first PSL fixture.

Kaizer Chiefs football club has confirmed that its new coach, Giovanni Solinas has received his work permit and will be on the touchline for the Amakhosi’s first fixture of the new Absa Premiership season.

Chiefs confirmed the news on their twitter account.

The Naturena-based club had announced the appointment of Solinas in mid-July and will be relieved that the Italian coach is able to call the shots from the bench.

The fixtures are coming thick and fast as well. On Saturday, Chiefs kick off their league campaign away to league Champions, Mamelodi Sundowns.

They will be at home at the FNB stadium the following Tuesday against Bidvest Wits, and again the next Saturday against Free State Stars in the MTN8.

(FILES) In this file photo taken on April 19, 2018, IMF Managing Director Christine Lagarde during the 2018 Spring Meetings of the International Monetary Fund and World Bank Group at IMF Headquarters in Washington, DC.
As growing trade frictions engulf much of the world, the International Monetary Fund warned on July 24, 2018, that large trade surpluses in Germany and China together with the large US deficit could exacerbate that conflict. But in a message that seem directed largely at US President Donald Trump, the IMF once again warned against using protectionist measures to address trade issues, since they can harm growth without resolving the problem.
