He was speaking at the Union Buildings in Pretoria where he had hosted them.

The team led by captain Siya Kolisi and coach Rassie Erasmus presented the Web Ellis Trophy to the President.

Thousands of supporters from all walks of life were on the steps of the Unions Buildings.
President Ramaphosa says the team has flown the country’s flag high, united South Africans, and made the nation proud.
The Springboks have embarked on the Rugby World Champions’ National Trophy tour, starting with Johannesburg after which they will head to Soweto.
The tour will also take the team to Durban, Port Elizabeth and Cape Town.
