The African Transformation Movement (ATM) has won 30% of votes in Nyandeni ward 21 in the Eastern Cape.

This was in the municipal by-elections which took place last week. The ANC received 65% of the vote, the EFF 3% and the UDM 2%.
Analysts have labelled these results as interesting considering how fairly new Mzwanele Manyi’s party is.
SAfm’s The Focal Point  spoke to elections analyst Dawie Scholtz  to give his thoughts on these results.
