There has been yet another cash-in-transit heist in Mpumalanga.

It’s believed that assailants in two cars attacked a cash- in-transit vehicle on its way to Emoyeni Mall, in Pienaar Township outside Mbombela.

According to an eye witness, a group of men in two cars emerged from the side of the road. The men fired multiple gun shots forcing the security personnel out of the vehicle.

They managed to disarm the security guards of their rifles and fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.
