The African National Congress (ANC) wants to reduce the stubbornly high unemployment rate from 27% to 14% within the next five years.
This came out at the end of the governing party’s Lekgotla outside Pretoria.
The ANC top brass, its alliance partners and those deployed in government met at the weekend to seek to translate the party’s election manifesto into action.
ANC Secretary General Ace Magashule was briefing the media about the outcomes of the Lekgotla.
