African Christian Democratic Party (ACDP) leader Reverend Kenneth Meshoe says his party will review the parole system and deny bail to those accused of murder and rape if it is elected to lead the country on May 29.

He was speaking at the ACDP’s elections manifesto launch in Johannesburg, yesterday.

Meshoe says the party will further introduce a biblical law that will see those who falsely accuse others of crimes such as rape serve time behind bars.

He says, “Now we are also going to introduce a new law that is biblical. One that says if you falsely accuse someone, report somebody and ensure that person is arrested for a crime they did not commit and you are found, you are the one who is going to serve the sentence you wanted that person to serve.”
