A homely warm welcome for the new crown Miss SA as she tours Limpopo

Homecoming celebrations for Miss South Africa 2022, Ndavi Nokeri continued at Tzaneen in Limpopo on Saturday today.  Nokeri was officially received by local chief Ribye Muhlaba at the Nkuna Tribal authority.  She was crowned two weeks ago.

Miss South Africa Ndavi Nokeri expressed her gratitude to the people of her hometown, Tzaneen for supporting her during her Miss SA journey.

Nokeri was welcomed by the local Nkuna Tribal Authority during her homecoming celebration at Lenyenye in Tzaneen.

She says the support from the local people assisted her to clinch the crown. Dressed in Xibelani, Xistonga attire, Ndave paraded in the streets of Tzaneen to showcase her crown.

Nokeri expressed her gratitude. “I thank everyone who supported me you showed me and I am happy that I come from here at chief Mhlavha I hope this achievement inspires everyone from the community,” said Nokeri.

The local chief, Hosi Ribye Muhlaba says Nokeri will be added to the list of Nkuna wall of achievers as a token of appreciation.

“I feel very great we are very much proud about what he did for the community this wall is where we post all those who achieved something that benefits our community so she deserves to be on that wall as miss south Africa 2022,”

Young people who came out to see Nokeri say they feel inspired by her achievement.

“As someone from a community who has achieved a lot she tells me in a way to overcome and endure what I wanna endure reaching the possible outcome, it tells us that to see that a person from our community has come thus far and it gives us hope,”

Nokeri’s visit will end with a music festival and a visit to Gavaza village on Sunday.
