The Springboks who started their Web Ellis Trophy tour in Pretoria, are now on their way to Johannesburg after which they will head to Soweto.
Thousands of South Africans have braved the scorching sun in Pretoria to cheer the reigning Rugby World Cup champions.
The Springboks, led by captain Siya Kolisi and coach Rassie Erasmus, began their victory tour at the Union Building in Pretoria by presenting the Web Ellis Trophy to President Cyril Ramaphosa.
People have been gathering in front of the City of Tshwane headquarters, Tshwane House in the Pretoria CBD for the start of the Springboks trophy tour. Various streets were closed in the Pretoria CBD, incluing Madiba Street.

The tour will also take the team to Durban, Port Elizabeth and Cape Town.

Meanwhile, residents of Pretoria have lined the stories of the city to take a glimpse at their heroes.

Meanwhile SA Rugby has revised the route for the Springboks’ Trophy Tour in Durban on Friday. It will now start at Centenary Boulevard in Umhlanga at around 09:15, and will travel towards Inanda, Mount Moriah, KwaMashu and then on to the Durban City Hall where they will stop for a brief mayoral visit.
The bus will then proceed to the Moses Mabhida Stadium where the Rugby World Cup champions will be treated to lunch, before departing for East London for the next stop of the Trophy Tour.
