The death toll in Saturday morning’s four-vehicle collision during an attempted armed robbery on the N-1 near Modimolle in Limpopo has risen to six.

Police say five people including a seven-month-old baby died on the scene while the sixth died in hospital Saturday afternoon.
The collision happened after the driver of a Freightliner truck tried to get away from two armed robbers and crashed into three cars on the road.
Police says they have opened a case of culpable homicide, attempted murder and attempted armed robbery.
