Outgoing African National Congress President Jacob Zuma says he would only accede to the party’s decision to recall him as head of state if the move did not risk further dividing the ANC.
Zuma will on Saturday give his last political report as the leader of the ANC after serving two-five-year consecutive terms.
The President’s critics within the ANC have called for his recall after the election of his successor during the party’s national conference which gets under way in Nasrec, south of Johannesburg on Saturday.
