Deputy president David Mabuza says the African National Congress (ANC) is in a better state now than it was before the Nasrec Conference that was held in 2017.

Mabuza, who was on a campaign trail in different areas of the Mpumalanga province said progress has been made in addressing divisions within the ANC.

He engaged community members who raised concerns about the lack of basic services in their areas.

“The ANC  is much better now than it was before we went to the Nasrec conference. The divisions are not as bad as they were before. We are positive that the ANC will perform well this coming elections.”

Party members and supporters say despite the many challenges facing the party, they are going to vote. “We know that there were mistakes in the ANC but we will not stop voting. We are hoping that there will be better delivery of services,” says one of the residents.

Another resident says; “I want better education that is why I am prepared to vote.”
