An enthusiastic group of supporters has joined President Cyril Ramaphosa in a walk from Gugulethu to Athlone in Cape Town to promote a healthy lifestyle.
Last week, the President and former finance minister Trevor Manuel took a walk to the Sea Point promenade.
Ramaphosa smiled and waved to the media and community members.
“I met some business people; I met Mr Alberts, who was moved from district six… I’m going to be talking about him in Parliament today. I met one lady who is in business Nkululeka, I think her name is – she’s running a business. So this gives me an opportunity to interact with our people and I’ve been walking on the sea point promenade and I’ve been meeting a lot of interesting people, shaking hands taking selfies.”
