Police are searching for suspects involved in a shooting that happened in Naturena, South of Johannesburg, on Tuesday. A taxi driver was shot and killed in an incident linked to on-going taxi violence in the area.
There has been an on-going feud over taxi routes. This is what police believe the recent spike in murders in and around the area are related to.
Police have strongly condemned the recent violence. More than four people were killed in the last few days.
Two people lost their lives Monday during a related incident and more shootings are anticipated.
Bara City Taxi Association has condemned the violence. Passengers say they do not feel safe.
More police have been deployed in the area.
