Five people have died after a vehicle they were travelling in overturned outside Vaalwater in Limpopo.
Police say the light motor vehicle lost control 30km outside Vaalwater near Lephalale, killing five occupants instantly.
The victims include a three-year-old child, one woman and three men. Police spokesperson Moatshe Ngoepe says the five have not yet been identified.
“The police in Lephalale are investigating the killing of five people who perished during a motor vehicle collision which occurred along the R33 road outside Vaalvater,” says Ngoepe.
Ngoepe adds: “At this stage they are not yet identified, we are calling all members of the community who can come assist us on the identification to contact captain Malesela at 082 414 2012.”
