A 43-year-old Boksburg woman is on Wednesday expected to appear at the Johannesburg Commercial Crimes Court for allegedly defrauding her employer of R460 million.
The woman was employed as an accountant with multi-national medical equipment supplier Medtronic‚ based in Midrand north of Johannesburg.
The Hawks‚ swooped on her home last year and seized millions of rand’s worth of jewellery and luxury cars and motorcycles.
Hawks spokesperson Ndivhuwo Mulamu says her assets were attached and everything is being assessed and a report will be given to see whether she declared everything.
