Police Minister Bheki Cele says his department’s officers have managed to arrest 13 people in connection with cash-in-transit heists. His statement comes amid an escalation of cash-in-transit heists.
Cele, who was accompanied by National Police Commission Khehla Sitole, addressed the media in Pretoria. He has assured South Africans that they will be safe because his officers will not allow criminals to triumph.
