‘Working class has more reasons to celebrate Workers Day’

Tyotyo is the main speaker at the Cosatu Limpopo provincial celebrations underway in Mahwelereng outside Mokopane.

Cosatu first deputy president James Tyotyo says this year’s Workers Day celebrations are special after the Nedlac agreement which will see the implementation of the national minimum wage for a R20 per hour.

Tyotyo is the main speaker at the Cosatu Limpopo provincial celebrations underway in Mahwelereng outside Mokopane.

He says that the working class has more reasons to celebrate Workers Day.

“It is so special because you might have heard that we have reached an agreement at Nedlac to improve or set a new national minimum wage that is the improvement we have made. We will continue with the campaigns against labour brokers e-tolls where ever they are we will continue with the campaigns against casualisation’s because we have number of workers who are actualised.”
