Cape Town police say a case will be opened following an illegal march by hundreds of anti-vaccination protesters in Sea Point on Saturday.

Police Spokesperson, Joseph Swartbooi says approximately 600 protesters gathered near the Sea Point Swimming pool to demonstrate against the COVID-19 vaccines.

He says the protest was peaceful and no damages or injuries were reported.

Swartbooi says a case docket will be opened as the march was illegal. No one has since been arrested.
