We’re still waiting to hear from SA: Zimbabwean authorities

Grace Mugabe stands accused of allegedly assaulting a Johannesburg model, Gabriella Engels with an extension cord in Sandton last year.

Zimbabwean authorities say they have not received any formal communication from the South African government regarding the warrant of arrest for their former First lady Grace Mugabe.

South African police announced this week that they’d issued the warrant.

Mugabe stands accused of allegedly assaulting a Johannesburg model, Gabriella Engels, with an extension cord in Sandton last year.

Zimbabwe’s permanent secretary in the Ministry of information, Nick Mangwana, says they’re still waiting to hear from South Africa.
