Independent Police Investigative Directorate (IPID) National Investigation Head, Matthews Sesoko, is testifying at the Commission of Inquiry into State Capture in Parktown, Johannesburg, shortly. Limpopo IPID Head Innocent Khuba is also expected to testify.
Last week, Hawks investigator Kobus Roelefse implicated the former Crime Intelligence head Richard Mdluli in plundering the unit’s slush fund and interfering with investigations.
Roelefse also told the commission that the slush fund was used to pay for Tiso Blackstar associate Editor, Ranjeni Munusamy’s vehicle.
