The Democratic Alliance’s (DA) KwaZulu-Natal elective conference takes place today in Durban. Over 500 delegates will elect the party’s provincial leadership to take the party to the polls at the Local Government Elections later this year.

Chief whip of the DA caucus in the provincial legislature, Francois Rodgers, eThekwini caucus leader Nicole Graham, and her deputy, Emmanuel Mhlongo, are contesting the top spot.

Due to concerns around the COVID-19 pandemic, the conference will largely take place virtually with the results being announced at the party’s provincial offices later today.
