South African Broadcasting Corporation’s (SABC) Group CEO, Nomsa Chabeli says the corporation is engaging Sentech to help resolve the broadcasting spectrum challenges.

Sentech provides broadcast transmission services to the public broadcaster.

SABC owes Sentech almost R1 billion.

Chabeli and some members of the board visited the SABC’s Limpopo region on Tuesday.

“So we were talking about the challenges of Sentech. I have good news for you. If you look at the technical team, we have the best team. As I stand here we are busy working on a proposal to ensure challenges we are experiencing are addressed,” Chabeli explains.
