The ILO will launch a report on the future of work that was compiled by Ramaphosa and Swiss Prime Minister Stefan Lofven.

President Cyril Ramaphosa has arrived in Geneva Switzerland, to attend the International Labour Organisation (ILO) meeting.

The ILO will launch a report on the future of work that was compiled by Ramaphosa and Swiss Prime Minister Stefan Lofven.

Labour Minister, Mildred Oliphant says the report will assist countries to plan better as they address the challenge of unemployment.

“What we’re trying to look at as well is the 4th industrial revolution. We’re well aware that now, people would prefer to use ICT. We’re saying, let us re-skill the workers now and again. And that the broader sense of what is now going to happen. South Africa has embarked on the re-skilling of labour.”
