Celtic has failed to finish the Absa Premiership campaign in the lucrative top eight for three seasons in a row.

Bloemfontein Celtic supporters have expressed shock that the club is up for sale.

The team owner, Max Tshabalala, says he can barely keep his head above water.  Tshabalala says the cost of running the PSL club have been unbearable over the last four years.

Celtic has failed to finish the Absa Premiership campaign in the lucrative top eight for three seasons in a row.

Siwelele supporters are not impressed.

“We have to have something that represents us, now they are selling… I mean where is our pride? where is our image as Bloemfontein?” says one supporter.

“I’m so disappointed – but anyway, as long as the team remains with us in Bloemfontein then everything will be okay,” adds a third supporter.
