City FC head coach Krmpotic Zlatko says he is excited that they are in a good position.

Polokwane City Football Club have moved to the top of the PSL log after beating SuperSport United FC. The Limpopo outfit have beaten Supersport United FC by three goals to one in a league encounter played at Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane Limpopo on Saturday.

Before Saturday’s match City were second on the log behind Kaizer Chiefs despite having the same number of points (10) and now they are sitting at the top with 13 points.

City FC head coach Krmpotic Zlatko says he is excited that they are in a good position.

“Good game. We played very well. We have 13 points. We are in a good position now. We must work hard. We must go for every game to win. We are in a good position.”

In other matches, Chippa United and Bloemfontein Celtic played to a goalless draw while Stellenbosch FC drew 2-all with Black Leopards. Mamelodi Sundowns redeemed themselves for their midweek loss to SuperSport United when they beat Maritzburg United 2-1.
