Telecommunications Minister Siyabonga Cwele is visiting social grant pay-points on the KwaZulu-Natal south coast to help ensure the smooth delivery of grant payments.

Approximately 17 million South Africans benefit from government social grants countrywide. Cwele has visited numerous pay points in and around Port Shepstone on the south coast.

The social grants agency South Africa Social Security Agency will be working hand in hand with the SA Post Office to pay social grants to beneficiaries when SAPO takes over.
