Parliament says 29 committees are expected to sit this week. Public Enterprises Minister Lynn Brown, her Deputy Ben Martins, Steinhoff International and former Prasa Chief Executive Officer Lucky Montana are among those who will be appearing before committees this week.

Brown and her department will appear before the Public Enterprises Committee on Tuesday morning. The same committee will then resume with the Eskom inquiry into alleged state capture in the afternoon, with Montana taking the stand.

Martins will be subpoenaed to appear in the inquiry on Wednesday.  The JSE, Reserve Bank and Financial Services Board are among the South African regulatory and statutory bodies that will appear before a joint Parliamentary committee along with Steinhoff also on Wednesday.

The joint committee comprises SCOPA, Finance as well as Public Service and Administration.
