YouTube has officially launched Youtube Go in South Africa. The application which has been hailed as a game changer will now enable users to watch video content from the platform with minimal data used.
As part of the launch YouTube embarked on an activation drive which saw the first ever YouTubeZAtour take place in Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg. Popular content creators from the platform gathered to discuss the challenges they faced.
Sipho Muchindu, a member of the Microwave boys says being part of the tour revitalized their desire to producer better content for consumers.
YoutubeGo has been hailed as a game changer as it will mean more people have access to the tons of content available online.
