The issue with Eymael is dead rubber – Komphela

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Golden Arrows coach Steve Komphela says he does not entertain questions about Luc Eymael, saying their differences are dead rubber.

Komphela’s Arrows face Eymael’s Black Leopards in the Absa premiership in Thohoyandou on Saturday evening, with kick-off at 18:00.

The coaches had a public spat earlier this season over local coaches’ jobs.

Komphela was asked if he has buried the hatched with Eymael.

Arrows go to Thohoyandou on the back of a win sitting in fourth place on the log with 20 points from 12 matches while Leopards are 13th with 12 points and game in hand.

The coach says it would be good for his side to be where they are right now by the Christmas break. Komphela adds that Li Doda Duvha are a good side and are stronger in their backyard.

Arrows are 11 points from the summit and Komphela adds that if the campaign produces an opportunity for Abafana Bes’thende to challenge for the championship, they will grab it.

The team will move their camp to Thohoyandou on Thursday. Report by Lethabo Kganyago
