Thursday marks the first year since Jacob Zuma announced his resignation as the President of South Africa.
Togo’s government has banned a series of planned opposition protests on security grounds, saying the marches posed a security risk.

Cape Town Mayor, Patricia de Lille, has announced her resignation as of 7pm on Wednesday. She is also resigning as a Democratic Alliance(DA) member.
