Eskom says it will not implement Stage 1 rotational load shedding on Monday. However, power utility says the electricity system remains tight and the risk of load shedding remains high for Monday should power station units fail to return to the national grid as planned.

Eskom says it will keep customers informed should there be any change.
It did not implement load shedding on Sunday.
Earlier, UDM Chief Whip and Member of Parliament’s Public Enterprises Portfolio Committee Nqabayomzi Kwankwa warned that Eskom’s current load shedding had the potential to undermine President Cyril Ramphosa’s investment efforts.
