Television and radio soapies’ actor, Matamela Samson Ramabulana has been laid to rest at Shayandima outside Thohoyandou in Limpopo. He is well known for his role as Vho Nenzhelele in SABC 2 drama, Muvhango.
He has also acted in the film Elelwani and in other short films. The Muvhango actors were amongst the mourners who paid their last respects for Ramabulana.
He passed away at a Polokwane hospital on Sunday last week.
His daughter, Hulisani, says the family is grateful for the support including by Muvhanga actors.
“The funeral service went well. My dad had a great funeral. We had his colleagues … people from SABC 2, Muvhango; people like Vho Azwinndini, Vho Mulalo, Vho Mulimisi and Vho Mukondeleli. They were there to honour him for the last time. We also had great support from SABC radio. They showed us great support for all these years that he worked with them.”
