Durbanites have KwaZulu-Natal’s hot and humid conditions look set to continue into the weekend. The South African Weather Service has also issued a weather warning for the north and eastern parts of the province for extreme discomfort.
According to the weather service, Durban will experience a heatwave.
Residents say they are flocking to the beach to cool down.
“For the past two days, the sun was too much we felt so much and we came here to relax and have fun. Today (Saturday) is my birthday, I came here to relax and it’s nice to here at the beach.”
The SA weather service also warned of possible thunderstorms, strong winds and heavy rain in some parts of KZN.
