African National Congress (ANC) in the Free State says it is ready to launch its 2019 provincial election manifesto this weekend at the Dr Rantlai Molemela Stadium in Bloemfontein.
The party’s chairperson, Gwede Mantashe, is expected to deliver the keynote address.
ANC provincial secretary, Paseka Nompondo, says they are expecting the majority of people living in the Free State to attend the launch.
“The stadium capacity is 17 000 and our target is to have 80% of the attendees to come from Mangaung region which includes Botshabelo, Thabanchu, Bloemfontein and with the remaining 20% to come from four other regions outside Mangaung. This allow us an opportunity to connect with people of the Free State,” says Nompondo.
