Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP) leader Inkosi Mangosuthu Buthelezi is optimistic that President Cyril Ramaphosa can turn things around and bring about change in the economy of the country following the resignation of President Jacob Zuma.

Buthelezi was addressing IFP members at the launch of the party’s Mobilisation of Durban Metro programme, where they are encouraging members and supporters of the party to update their information with the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) and also register for the 2019 election.

Buthelezi says the newly elected President of the country is likely to change the image of the country as the country has been going down and corruption is becoming uncontrollable.

He emphasizes that they are waiting to see how Ramaphosa is going to root out corruption although it will take time as corruption is deep rooted in politicians.
