Peter Pedlar has been appointed as Acting Secretary for the State Capture Inquiry. The Commission says he will act in the position from Tuesday until February 28 according to a released statement.
This is after Dr Khotso De Wee took special leave from the Commission after he was implicated in the evidence of Former Bosasa COO Angelo Agrizzi.
In his evidence Agrizzi noted that De Wee was one of the Senior Officials of the Department of Justice who were paid bribes by Bosasa.
This was in regards to a tender in 2013 for the establishment of a security system in various courts throughout the country.
