The people of Zwelitsha just outside of King Williamstown in the Eastern Cape will on Saturday be celebrating one of their own with a homecoming party for Lukhanyo Am.

The welcoming motorcade is scheduled to start in Breidbach, moving through to King Williamstown and Ginsberg before heading to Zwelitsha.

The day will culminate with a formal gathering at the OR Tambo hall in Zwelitsha.

Am plays outside centre for the Springboks and was instrumental in sending Makazole Mapimpi away for the first try in the World Cup final against England.

His pass to Mapimpi is seen as one of the most selfless moves in World Cup history.
