Bidvest Wits newly added trio of Lorenzo Gordinho, Kgaogelo Sekgota and Cameroonian Bienvenu Eva Nga came in as a much-needed boost after Phathutshedzo Nange, Terrence Dzvukamanja and Thabang Monare incurred injuries in their previous games.

Wits took advantage of the open transfer window period and strengthened three different positions, a move that saw the arrival of the three players. Wits’ head coach Gavin Hunt is delighted with the addition.

Gordinho and Sekgota are not registered to play in the  CAF Confederation Cup. However, Hunt indicates that the fresh legs came in handy for the Braamfontein-based side as this season demands them to perform at their peak. Hunt added that he desired to field Gordinho in CAF.

Wits will jet-off on Thursday to Guinea for their Sunday clash against Horoya FC at Stade du 28 Septembre. The 55-year-old mentor says that his troops are fine.
