The expropriation of land without compensation is set to dominate talks at the National Forum for Dialogue on Land, Heritage and Human Rights in Johannesburg which is currently underway.
The two day meeting is organised by the National Parliament, the Gordon Institute of Business Science and the Nelson Mandela University, among others.
One of the conveners is Roelf Meyer, who was Minister of Constitutional Development before 1994 and conducted the Codesa talks on South Africa’s transition with current president, Cyril Ramaphosa.
