The Vodacom Group’s third-quarter service revenue rose by 30%, benefitting from the inclusion of Vodafone Egypt.

The company bought a 55% ownership in Vodafone’s Egyptian division in 2021 for around R43.6 billion, making it the largest transaction in the telecom operator’s history.

Vodacom’s proactive focus on new services led to the growth of R6.2 billion and more than 20% of group service income.

These services include digital and financial services, fixed broadband, and the idea of linking household gadgets to the internet.
