The SABC News COVID-19 Global Wrap brings you highlights of news which dominated headlines with regards to the coronavirus pandemic.

In this week’s Global COVID-19 Wrap, SABC News captures highlights from all corners of the globe as the number of confirmed coronavirus infections continues to rise.

The world currently has recorded over 503 million cases, with over 453 million recoveries and over 6.2 million deaths.

Meanwhile, South Africa has 3 737 346 confirmed cases, with 3 625 407 recoveries and 100 138 deaths and the rest of the African continent sits at over 11.3 million confirmed cases, with over 10.7 million recoveries and more than 251 000 deaths.
