Tiger Brands was negatively affected by the Listeriosis outbreak.

Tiger Brands has appointed new leadership which will take up office at the beginning of July. The company has been adversely affected by the discontinuation of certain products in the wake of the Listeriosis saga.

Tiger Brands has made changes to their executive committee. This follows the Listeriosis outbreak which has cost the food producer around R33 million per month.

Grattan Kirk has resigned as Chief Growth Officer, pending replacement. The remainder of the consumer brands portfolio will report to Pieter Spies, who is Chief Growth Officer of the group’s grains division.

Yokesh Maharaj, executive director at South African breweries will join Tiger Brands as Chief Growth Officer responsible for exports and international divisions, as well as snacks, treats and beverages.
