Three people have been killed and one seriously injured in a collision between two cars on R71 in Phalaborwa, Limpopo.

Traffic Spokesperson Michael Maringa says the driver of one of the vehicles lost control and collided with an coming one.

Maringa says Transport and Community Safety MEC Mavhungu Luruli Ramakhanya has warned motorists against driving during curfew hours, saying this is in contravention of lockdown regulations.

“The MEC is worried about motorists who continues to disobey lockdown regulations, she has sent a warning to those who continue driving outside the curfew hours that they will meet with the might of the law, they will be arrested and they will have to account for their actions.”
