President Cyril Ramaphosa has wished the Mozambican people a successful election.
Head of the African Union Observer Mission and former Nigerian President, Goodluck Jonathan says Mozambicans have shown discipline since they started voting in general elections earlier on Tuesday.
Some Mozambican nationals who are participating in the country’s national elections from a polling station at N’wamitwa village outside Tzaneen in Limpopo, are happy to have been afforded the opportunity while in South Africa.
More than 1 million people have been registered to vote in 13 districts with 425 voting stations for the Mozambique elections. The Mozambican national electoral commission has confirmed that all voter materials have been delivered and they are ready.
