The Boks, following their good win over the All Blacks last weekend, will start as favourites against the Aussies.

Springboks‘ loose head prop Steven Kitshoff has warned his team mates not to take the foot off the pedal when they take on the Wallabies in Rugby Championship match in Port Elizabeth on Saturday.

The Boks, following their good win over the All Blacks last weekend, will start as favourites against the Australians who are bottom of the log in this four team’s competition.

Kitshoff says the Aussies are a threat.

“They have a good pack  – all good rugby players, and they have big forwards. I think the Brisbane test was a little bit scrappy. We didn’t really scrum well. I think this week it’s going to be important to stick to or structures, get the game plan going and make it cleaner and better battle when it comes to set pieces.”

Kitshoff who has played most of his international rugby as a substitute, has started in his last two games, and says he is very happy to be in the mix.

“I’m very happy to be in the mix every weekend. I think the competition between me and Beast is very healthy. We push each other every week to become better players. If it continues like that I will be very happy and if he is happy we must continue looking at the bigger picture.”
