South Africans on social media are divided over whether or not it is right for the residents of Protea Glen in Soweto to reject land invaders to built shacks besides their houses.
About 100 people tried to occupy land illegally on Saturday in Protea Glen. Residents of Protea Glen Extension 29 have gone on protests, saying they do not want shacks in their area.
On social media, people are divided over the issues, with some saying they too would not want shacks erected next to their houses while others qualify residents of Protea Glen as traitors.
