A woman has been chopped to death allegedly by her son at Ga-Mamaila village outside Giyani in Limpopo.
According to information, the suspect used an axe to kill his mother.
The motive for the killing is still unknown.
Police spokesperson Hlulani Mashaba has confirmed the incident saying more details will be divulged later.
