Millions of South Africans depend on the different SABC channels for news in their home languages.
Some languages are aired every two days across the Free to Air platforms. In efforts to satisfy the growing audience, the SABC is launching a 24 hour News Channel for African languages on Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT) and SABC plus.
