South Africans are ranked third most likely to fall for online scams.
This is according to Microsoft in the Global Tech Support Scam Research report.
The report also found that millennials (born between 1984-1996) and “Gen-Z”(born after 1997) are the most affected groups.
Communications Lead at Microsoft South Africa Ashleigh Fenwick says users should be more vigilant online.
